Don't know about you people, but we think that it is completely unacceptable that, at the moment, we don't have a Wikipedia article for our awesome game!
Well, there actually is one, in Finnish: (link), which is unfortunately not very detailed, but kudos to whoever made an effort.
For starters, we are looking to create at least an article for the English wiki, with the basic overview of the game, its main features, gameplay, etc. Basically, something similar to this.
Obviously we would welcome other languages as well, so please feel free to contribute in any case. From our side, we promise to provide some generous rewards!
EDIT: No need to ask for our permission, just contribute away if you feel like you have something useful to add. Try and collaborate with each other when working on the same language, that's the whole point of WIkipedia!
EDIT2: I guess it goes without saying that the articles need to be as objective as possible, as per Wikipedia's guidelines.
I can do it in English and Croatian language.
Also, I am already registered there since I have been updating some history articles on it. If needed, I can make another registration just for our atWar article.
I'll contact you, I need to ask you few things firstly (about certain details).
Wikipedia article sounds like a good idea.
If croat is going for the spanish version, I might go for the german and/or spanish version...
starting like e.g.
"Atwar is an online turn based strategy game whose origins can be found in tabletop games such as "Risk" and "Axis & Allies". It is the best game in the world and all players agree, that they spend much too much time playing it, neglecting their homework, studying for exams and or regular work.
Flaming about other players' noobiness, "aggressive advertising" for own games by insulting other map types (e.g. rp fags) and adding troll players to one's enemy list is also a crucial part of the game. ..."
Not sure if I just don't understand the differences between this and normal wikipedia...
'Normal' Wikipedia is what most people visit when they want to learn about something. The article would mostly be oriented towards new or not-yet-players.
No need to ask for our permission, just contribute away if feel like you have something useful to add. Try and collaborate with each other when working on the same language, that's the whole point of WIkipedia!

This is ridiculous. You guys know how to exploit the kindness of the community very well.
What next? Ask people to show off atWar logos everywhere they go?
So... let me get this straight... we need a Wikipedia article, no matter the language, in which we describe the game, etc. for which we have nothing done yet...
I see some people who talk about translating when there's still nothing done yet...
My doubt: in order to post something, do we need to registre or something? And, even if we get rewarded, shouldn't you, as admins, think of the way to write it, give a guideline of what we should talk about, etc.? Cause this seems to take us to many different points of view, many different people trying to write their own thoughts or whatever. Organization is needed to do this.

The point is, we want it to be community-generated. Articles on Wikipedia are (normally and generally) not written by the product owners, as they(we) can't possibly be objective enough. So we trust in you guys to come up with a balanced and comprehensive overview of our game. Let's at least try and see where we get with this!
Ok things need to start somehow so i wrote up a summery and i guess we can work from here.
Feel free to use or not to use as you see fit.
Game Summery
Atwar known previously as Afterwind is an Online Multiplayer Real Time Strategy Game. While it appears to be based on the game Risk, Atwar boasts a realistic combat scenario governed by asset management and strategic decision making. Diplomacy, Resource Management, and Strategic Positioning of troops play a vital role in ensuring a greater diversity of in game situations and outcomes.
Main Concepts
Strategy/Customization. At the beginning of each game, players are allowed the choice of which color they will be represented as on the game map, and are allowed to choose one of several general strategies which will alter their troop's performance to suit either the needs of the situation or their preferred style of play. Game Map and Rules can also be customized.
Strategic Positioning. Once the game starts players are allowed to choose their starting position by purchasing a country from their starting funds. The choice made determines their remaining funds, number of available reinforcements, and their opportunities for expansion.
Diplomacy. As the political landscape begins to unfold, players have the ability to make or break alliances with other players, allowing them to team up and share resources.
Combat. Atwar combat is strategy based, and revolves around the type and number of troops used, not on chance. Atwar features a realistic troop movement system which simulates real life troop movement, allowing players to move troops by land by sea and by air as well as combine and separate individual units. This allows players to engage behind enemy lines, perform surprise attacks, and exploit unit weaknesses and utilize advanced tactics.
Players can use their selection of troops to attack other countries in order to gain access to more reinforcements and increase their income.
Resource Management. In Atwar each individual country has a preset amount of income and reinforcements. As players capture cities and countries, their total income and number of reinforcements increase allowing them to purchase more units. Units each have an initial cost and a maintenance cost which is deducted from the player each turn. Players must keep a balance of units and income which allows them to be successful yet remain capable of reacting to threats. Spoils. When a players team takes victory in a game players each receive a number of Strategy Points determined by various elements within the game itself. Players can use these to gain access to a number of upgrades including advanced units unit upgrades and new strategies. Atwar features a leveling system which tracks players' SP milestones.
Fantasy. While the default map of Atwar is a satellite map of Earth divided into the separate countries, Players can get the ability to Create and play fantasy maps of their own design, customizing countries continents and units to their own specifications making the number of unique games limitless.
Social. Atwar players can create and join clans, customize their player profile, organize tournaments and participate in live chat across multiple channels and languages.

There are many things for which compromise is expected, loyalty is not among them.

Game Map and Rules can also be customized.
You should point out that there is the possibility to choose from any continent in the world to play in besides from some of the most important settings to be customized: starting funds, number of players and alliances allowed for example are the ones that might stand out the most.

There actually is a little chance involved in the critical strikes (LB is based on increasing this chance after all). XD
Anyway, greatly done!

There was a redirect in the code to that page. I fixed it and made one for atwar.
Who is the newfag that edited the dramatica atwar page and deleted ancient mentions like mine? That is the problem with wikipedia as a whole, any dumbass can make changes even if he is ignorant.
ill go contribute to the atwar wikipedia now, because one thing atwarers can never into, is english
The English wiki page is marked for 'Speedy deletion' at the moment, since it's unfinished. Could someone please change its status to draft so it won't get deleted by the wiki moderators?

Oh, piss off!
#Hdrakon4mod
This is why I think you guys should do bi-monthly updates, so we can appreciate what you do behind the scenes.
I just made some additions to Hellraiser and Tacticians entries. This is what the English version looks like atm.
I guess it goes without saying that the articles need to be as objective as possible, as per Wikipedia's guidelines.
I just added citations.
And I hope you don't mind that I used the AW logo on your DP... i had to claim it as "my own work" which it obviously isnt, but IDK how else I'm suppose to get it up there.
