Extremely simple suggestion: If a player abandons or surrenders from a team game, either map or scenario, then the land, money and troops of the leaving player is inherited by the closest teammate. I am getting a bit tired of remaking games ten times because some impatient fool left.

Have you though what would happen if that team game happens to be, let's say, a WWII scenario where a single player must control such huge amounts of land? You'd inherit another massive amount of land and units... imagine yourself as UK + France... impossible to handle everything, not even with 5 min turns...

Support any kind of mechanic that somehow allow the game to continue when one person left too early

The alternative is a failed game. I think most people will take the chance.

In my case, I wouldn't like to be in the skin of the guy who has to take care of UK and France together...
