It's a Hebrew word. The Arabic word, which is similar to Hebrew, is pronounced as MarHaba, while the Hebrew word is pronounced as MerKava. Both words mean different things. Marhaba is hello/welcome. Merkava is carriage.

The French and Germans are stockpiling these weapons should a war ever break out. The US however is arming an ongoing conflict and is arming the aggressor. That is a whole different story my friend.

In the last 40 years the French fought more wars in Africa than USA all over the world.
USA is arming everyone in the middle east. for instance after Mubarrak fell they congratulated the muslim brotherhood by giving them brand new F-16s squad. they yearly fund all Israeli neighbors except Syria and including the PLO. Israel is getting extra fund due past agreements with the USA (as security and balance gurantees for leaving Sinai for instance). and due the fact unlike other funded nations Israel nearly ignores the competing european weaponry market and fills all its need in the american market. (and ofcourse due extra motivations like loyalty and lobbying of American weaponry companies who earn alot from these funds because they know Israel will use it to buy from them).
Execuse me. can you name one war that Israel has started?

A year ago when they invaded Mali i readed an article of all their 19 military interventions in africa since the 80s. I could'nt dig deep enough for that article but here are some quick google results http://www.businessinsider.com/frances-military-is-all-over-africa-2015-1 http://www.westafricasecuritynetwork.org/the-french-military-in-africa-successes-challenges-ahead/ http://www.newsweek.com/2014/11/07/france-slowly-reclaiming-its-old-african-empire-280635.html https://www.economist.com/blogs/baobab/2014/07/france-africa https://www.worldpittsburgh.org/the-french-legacy-in-africa/ https://www.npr.org/2013/12/15/251171604/once-again-french-troops-intervene-in-africa https://limacharlienews.com/mena/france-us-africa/

HAHAHAHAAHAH Invade xd you use links like you are Tito, again. Most of french interventions in Africa since 80s aren't to poor countries and then buy cheap resources from them (khm america), french military in those cuntries battled against extremist groups and preventing them to approach capitals. Next time, before deciding what word to use, "intervention" or "invasion" (since you used both in post above, and they have different meaning to be used like that) read about those "invasions", and not just some low-populated and not respected news sites.

Fair enough. I was arrogant and to make it up I will start gathering more data. But anyways, the whole point of this debate was Wheelo claim that France gets American weapons for purely good purposes and Israel for bad purposes. one way or another I still insist that is just wrong no matter how bad their enemy is. I did'nt see their intervention in places like Congo or Eritrea. and even their motives are purely to aid against terrorism and defend themselves. It's the exact same purpose of the Israeli army.

Not quiet true. We do have small scale wars for short periods of times but look at stability in terms of economy society and democracy Israel is very stable country - economy always grows rapidly. minorities very well integrated. Democracy is everyone's wish and parties regularry replace each other and no soon threath to come from the Inside or major one from the outside. Israel looks very stable especially when you compares it to its neighbors. We do rely alot on the US and therefore they pressure us to do lot of things as they will. but considering the backup that we get and our growth and stability since isolation ended it is fair. Also. the USA is not to be blamed for the war our enemies start aganist us. it started way before they were involved in the middle east. it has more to do with ideology and identity and the way authorities promote themselves than foreign intervention
