Thing with clovis is, he first starts coming up with things, making accusations, people dont like it, or the accusations were against some people and they just simply responded back, then clovis starts saying ''stop flame warring'' to look innocent. Then he starts coming up with off-topic crap, which people might get annoyed of and quote him and say stop or go against it. Then he is quiet for a little time, when he realises the forum went back on topic, he comes again and stirs his way into this forum and starts the flame war once again. Everyone here who didn't respond on clovis, was on-topic and just anwsered the question of this forum. Its so annoying to actually have this kind of people here, with two-faced thoughts. First > lets troll, second > lets be serious and try to become ''supporter''. Way to simply avoid this is to ignore him, or there should be a button on banlist with '' ban from commenting on my forums''

If they asked for help, I don't think people would turn their backs on them... the thing is that they barely try. Maybe they try once and since it's hard for them, they just give up.

A competitive clan won't just acept a RP'er cause of their beautiful face, they need proves that the RP'er has interest in learning, before joining any clan they should start paying attention to competitive games and try play them, ask a few people around, etc. Not just arrive there and ask to enter a clan... that's really stupid. First he must prove he really wants to learn and that he wants to make an effort. For example... they could start by reading all forum guides, like yours, don't you think??

Reminds me in my times when I wanted to play GW on every european country.... Nobody wanted to teach me. Then general turn premium-only.... poor rank 7, nobody wanted to teach me. Then I have to steal my own expansions from various clan forums.... yet nobody grave that knowledge for free. And then I turned into a OP rank 8 kicking ass against rank 10+ in duel... I receive 7 invitation to join a clan when I left ULP. But lets not go too far, just look at ferlucci. Both he and zone comes from ancient. Ask they for their history ( but ancient is not as hated as RP!!). ¿Did they started by joining Illyria? How can an RPer prove that he want to learn? By stop playing the map that he likes to? hdrakon took me even though I was a noob rank 4 and he trained me in GW, then I started to love the strategy. But when I wanted to charge from GW to PD, hdrakon was not there( But he is so gently he would train me in PD too!) In that time, play GW in 3vs3 is the same as a rank 6 picking sweden. Hate, discrimination, people calling you noob, and of course, nobody willing to train you. But right now MS does not accept RP players, regardless if they are willing to listen and learn or not. Play RP = Discrimination, exclusion, and no way to join competitive clan.

how is that a fact? stop generalizising 1 clan with all of them. There are plenty of RP'ers in a competitive clan, or atleast EX-rp'ers, idk if they are still in it but like pars, winterfell, even illyria has ex-scenario players. Stop trying to sound like a holysaint, if you want RP'ers to join competitive gameplay go ahead and make your own freaking clan.

mfw, look, we dont discriminate rp in ms, (in fact, we support their freedom to play what they want). if the guy is eager to learn and improve competitively we consider him like anybody else (doesnt matter if he likes rp or 3v3 hardcore) and do our common stalking and teaching procedure. if the guy is wanting to play rp and only rp, why would we bother with him? by "we dont accept rp players" i refered to people that ONLY play rp with no other interests

I didn't wait for a clan to come train me.... that's being a lazy fucktard. If you want to get something done, get your brain to work. I trained by playing against competitive players or by watching them. I got some details from people that gave me a few hints and such but nothing too special. If you wanna prove you have interest, start by making an effort and learn on your own, then come asking for help on things that are more complex or specific, that way others will know you have interest cause you already did some work on your own. Hdrakon also helped me a bit with the PD UK basics, cause I lacked any experience at that strategy but I didn't need help to learn other strategies, you just try them. By playing exclusively RP you show no interest on improving skills or becoming competitive and clans usually give importance to that. So why would a competitive clan have a no skill player? First make an effort, practice the basics and come again in order to be further trained... if you don't do that, how would I know if you really have interest at all or if I'm losing my time with you?

Strong clarification What about the players who play RP, but are willing to play other maps and learn? (ANSWER) What if they play other maps ok, but they dont want to stop playing RP just because a clan? (ANSWER) MS say already it does not matter, they would accept everybody willing to learn. But this does not happen with the other clans, as I said, a lot(if not everybody else) of people think that just because you play RP you dont want to learn, and you want to keep as a noob. I was never talking about someone who play exclusively a map, because even if they play exclusively africa or exclusively whole world or any other map they wouldnt be accepted in a clan.... but INDEED, THEY WOULDNT GET AS DISCIRIMINATED AS RP!!!!! Your opinion is true in you and probably in MS, but my argument stands for everything else. Can you talk for those who hate RP( and their players) to death?

im getting tired of these discussions about poor rp-ers, so lets get some facts straight. 1.regardless of the maps a player play, young talents are always welcomed in competitive clans.i was ancient fag also. But they have to be "young".Meaning ranks 5-8.If they get to rank 9, that means that by then they must be pretty good at the game, otherwise its their problem. 2.This thing with the "training" is becoming ridiculous.Ok most clans when they see a promising low rank, they are willing to train him.But that shouldnt be a thing. And a norm.Because it becomes a cruch for new players.I know alot of us, that never got any training from high ranks.Offcourse we got help in the clans we were, but not in the form of training. We spent the time. And they should also.If an Rper wants to join a competitive clan, he can.Let him watch 50 games first and 10 cws, read the forum guide about 3v3 and practise his 1st turn expansions and then i bet you anything you want, he can find a spot in alot of clans that cw.I can guarantee you that.

If they are willing to play other maps, then they would already be doing it. If they want to learn, they will be already trying on their own (forum, watching other people, playing against them, gathering experience, etc.). In that case, they already should have the basics and I would LOVE to teach them more complex matters. WHO THE FUCK WOULD BAN SOMEONE FROM PLAYING RP???? I've been in winterfell, people play RP when they fucking want, here in MS i've seen Chivas playing RP, so what?? Do you think I get mad cause of someone playing RP? Maybe if I had more time I'd play it too just for the fun... Other clans work similar... they wont ever accept a guy that only plays RP and that has never done a effort in their life to try improve his skills.... That's really simple and it's cause of ALL the reasons they've been giving in this darn post right from the begining lol read them and you'll probably understand... RP might be the map that requires the least skills to play. I can understand them the same I understand your attempt to defend RP'ers. But it's obvious that both are opposite... Clans seek competitiveness, RP'ers just seek SP or fun. For a competitive guy, what RP'ers do is a waste of time. I think that Khal has also explained this whole deal quite well too, I don't know where is your doubt in this issue. A player that doesn't make an effort will never be taught. Btw, if what forum needs are expansions, I can help on that by making some expansions posts... just stop complaining lol Still, if people dont make an effort, it will be no use in making those.

Ignore himm fffs, why u keep on responding. Every clan has forums with expansions, and the way for people to become really pro is finding their way into their own expansions, there is no need to spam forum with all kind of expansions.. could be usefull but thats where clans are for. It's not hate, it's lost of respect. Not really, GoT actually has many posibilities in strategies, LoTR also needs strategy, Ancient is an art somehow... They dont have excessive funding, they have it's own details that make them interesting even for training, you need skills to win them, not just unit spamming, etc

I've played GoT map and the options are many, can also choose from different strategies and I love the rivers and the possibility to use them ^^ Hearing from a map is worth nothing unless you play it. Ancient is basically IF, GW and PD, depending on the length of the game, on the distance and on your plan. People just say it's only IF in order to discredit the map and it's players.

yes IF is strong on the map but isnt that a good thing, we lack IF in normal world games or even in most 3v3 games, so why is it an issue that a map is created with the range of units to encourage more strats like IF, that is a positive thing

So this is basically the circle we are following: - People play RP's - Someone from RP try to play somenthing different (an scenario). - Infinite hate, discrimination, and banned from playing other map by Anti-RP community. - He say "Is just an scenario", so he try playing 3vs3. - He pick sweden - INB4 kicked, and yeah nobody tells him why he got kicked (For the biggest part, they just kick they dont tell why). -He return to play RP, where he dont get hated or kicked. Your point is that before be accepted by those players, he need to try first right? How will he try, if nobody let him? He dont have - as I said - someone for tell him about the forum. How will he learn without other's help? He dont have a competitive clan, and his friends are most likely from RP too. So, again, how will he learn? khal, you are greek, so you know this better than me. If we remove the school, the books and put a children alone in a word of adults that either dont know, or just dont tell him that they know. You would need a life or two just for learn how to talk, or count, or even, discover numbers. Now let me provide you an example about how to not talk difficult the learning system: I was playing a 3vs3 once. I remember it, because it was the most humiliating game I've had in my whole AW life. The players: Chess, luis, Dr.TrollFace, bargain, (I think NateBaller as 5th) and me. They all were rank 10+, except for me rank 7. They all had competitive clan, except for me in inactive clan. The game was going to be so epic that Safari(dot version, not mod) wrote: I am making a report of this game for ATN. There were a lot of spectators too. But I wanted to do something new. About 2 minutes and half someones pr'ed me asking "What are you doing? ". I told him "I am actually trying something new". He say in game chat: "This game will be a fail" and I told him the same, in game chat: " I am going to try something new". Turn 2 I walled all my Turkish cities and send the rest of the units to istanbul. I didnt expand. You can imagine all the damm comments I've got for that. What is more, the next 3vs3 was made for rank 9+'for ensure noobs like me dont join again. There was a noob, that noob was me asking: What I did wrong? It would be two weeks or so when I return to play 3vs3 and ask Funtime (rank 6) about turkey, telling him my idea. He say I should expand or else I dont get reinforcements. I understand, and never tried that king of turkey until today. Now you see how the problem with ranks also relates to the problem with RP? The "competitive" players does not accept low ranks or players that play RP... in other words, all they want is pro's to play. How can someone learn like this? How you expect an RP player to learn if the "competitive" players dont even give them the chance??? I also bring you the chase of that particular guy of The War To End All Wars: From turn 2 to turn 5 he got bullied. And Aetius also banned him for not resist so much BS. What???' The players with no general get the same type of bullying if I remember right. Same with the players on noob clan, or low ranks who pick non-standard countries. But there will come a day, where we will have a wide and rich public forum, with a lot of knowledge and expansions, then not be in a clan wont be an excuse anymore, where there wont be selfish clans sharing knowledge between themselves because "We dont want to train you". And who knows? maybe when this happen we can ask devs for include a tour in the website for new players. But right now we cannot show them how selfish are the clans and how poor ( in terms of knowledge and expansions) is our public forum. Kinda a kid's dream, right? But well, you can deduce from what I told you that, I really know what is want to learn, but have nobody to train. And of course, when I launch my guide, I got a typical response from a selfish person:
This didnt stopped me from making guides. And I am trying, because I know what is be discriminated. You say you would post expansions right? then please do, since some players really need them.
