It would be nice to have a certain amount option that would be spent on auto production and not all the cash.
also a cancel all global production button & global production for all countries.
one more thing when im playing a naval game and i try to set the country auto produce ships it wont show up, i know not all citys are port citys but it should still show up.
I use auto production all the time. The key is to figure out how much to auto produce and where. I usually put auto production on for my front lines, and off for the territories behind where I might not have enough cash to afford them
I usualy only use it in big games, if its like a europe or med. match, then I usualy have enough time to go around and +all my citys up. I also have to agree with crazy Ivan on the global functions, those could be pretty nifty
If I ever use it, it's only in one city where I know someone will try to attack, I need to more quickly, and BEFORE them. Since apparently the order of moves is important. (Only on quick games)
Well, since you're going to necro, I might as well chip in...
Basically, I play as a Naval Commander a lot and it doesn't seem to work with Destroyers. Hence, it's useless, but I can definitely see practical use of the feature in world games where you have no time to micro-manage your vast empire.
It does work, but you have to set it on a coastal city directly. You can't do it from the country-tab if some of the cities in that country aren't coastal

Hello, I listen to Shakira and Rihanna and I support the multiculturalisation of Europe : )
I always use auto-production in large maps on my home country, if 5k probably around week 8 I start to use, if 50k, probably week 4.

"There was Eru, the One, who in Arda is called Ilúvatar and he made first the Ainur, the Holy Ones, that were the offspring of his thought, and they were with him before aught else was made."
I honestly don't use it that much. Usually, I don't have the time to manage all the units that will be made, or I won't have the economy to support it.

I would use it more if you had more control over the auto produce, such as:
- Reserve amount of money to be left (i.e. auto produce will leave less than X money)
- Reserve amount of manpower to be left unrecruited
- Autoproduce a percentage of income, if you want say 25% of income to be used
- Build mixed stacks, this could be done by recruiting say 2 infantry, 2 tanks and clicking a reproduce this army button, then bam it builds this combination over and over.
- Turn to autoproduce on, e.g. set to be the last week before reinforcement
Autoproduce is very helpfull on gaining timr but i want to suggest ( if there is possible to realize) an additional way to gain time.
This way consist in an accomulation point that is a point in which autoproduced armies have to go without thr player must move.
The player can decide that autoproduced armies in paris go to moscow . yeah they cant go in 1 turn the automovehave to move in the max range in each turn so after some turns armies qill be there .
idk this is a suggestion, admins pls tell me if it is realisable.
The reason that I don't use it as often as I would like to: I save one reinforcement for a transport. If you could set the quantity of troops to autoproduce (or not autoproduce) per city, it would be much more useful in small scale environments.
I use it sometimes when I have a lot of money to auto-produce bombers usually. Sometimes when I don't have time (or can't be bothered), when I want a lot of a unit, I put auto-production on countries with a lot of cities and execute. Afterwards I cancel it.
