LONG BUT JUST BEAR WITH ME PLEASE! REALLY GOOD FOR COMPETITIVE PLAYERS! I believe this would be a very good way to bring players in Coalition's closer and work even more as part of a team in CWs It would be a tab in the coalition menu that not necessarily looks but acts the same way as upgrades do to players, they would be for the whole coalition (only) when in CWs. These "Coalition upgrades" will act like custom strategies to the whole coalition if in a CW(Disabling individual player strategies, if host or two coalitions...Or three or four coalitions decides. Wink wink hint hint 3,4,5 Coalitions on one map?) upgrades could be?: These apply to all members: -"Your Coalitions Capital Manpower is increased: "Raises one recruitment in each capital by 1(or only home country) but decreases range of all units." -"Enables allies to defend your cities(Putting allied units inside your cap stack) but defense line(s) length is greatly reduced" -"Faster population growth in your Coalitions Capital enables faster recovery income rate of all cities but disables the use of "X" upgrade" -"The citizens of your Coalition's Capital have adopted a "Scorched earth" mentality" "Doubles the Collateral damage done by the enemy(Only applies if the enemy has captured your city)" -"The citizens of your Capital have gained more pride in your leadership" "Raises HP by 3 for all units for two(Or only)one selected turn(s) in game but takes 30 seconds to activate, raises all units by 30, Reduces critical hit chance and movement speed by -2 for all units" (For the turn it's active on) Cooldown 5? 7 turns? More? -"Build military grade sirens in your Coalitions Capital" 2 view range for all units that are placed in cities" "Upgrade sirens to 3 view range?" Then 4,5,6 maybe just stop at 6 or keep going? -"Construct an EMP bomb in the Capital" "For one turn completely disable all enemy tanks and air craft movement speed for 30-45seconds, but takes 1 minute to take effect, is announced in game chat 1 minute before hand and HP for all units goes down by 1. Cooldown 5? 7 turns?, more? -"Train up a "False Politician" in your Coalition's Capital to deceive and rob the opponents people." "Take a small percentage of each enemies income" "Will be split equally between allies. But can only happen once in game and has a rare slight chance that the "False Politician" may steal from one of your many cities" -"Purposely set a fire in the Capital to receive high collateral damage in some cities to receive an angered and mislead main attack unit" "Raises main attack unit's attack but get reduced income from some cities" -"Plunder the enemies capital if you win and take a certain amount of CSP" And maybe even mishmash the strategies we already have into these "Coalition Upgrades"? Obviously add way more than the ones I offered. The upgrades will cost SP but..."Coalition SP"(CSP) of course, Any SP earned from players inside the coalition will be sent to the Coalition's Capital and waiting for the upgrades to be unlocked, maybe the SL will be halfed when it gets to the Capital? These unlocks require very high SP....Sorry. "CSP". PICKING THEM: Leaders and officers will have the option to pick three of them as the "Coalition's Active Upgrades" when in the Coalition's Capital menu and able to change them anytime even when in the lobby when going into a CW, Host can choose if they want, one, two, three or none in thier game. Both Coalition's will never be able to see the others upgrades throughout the game or in the lobby. The host also has the ability to disable some upgrades. OTHER OPTIONS: -CSP can be converted into a small amount of PCs for each player or selected player(Can only be done by Leader and he can only do it once a day) Maybe add this maybe not -"Coalition Wager Matchs" Bet 5,000 CSP to have a chance to win 7,500 CSP, bet 15K to win 30K, 60K to win 120K. Of course mods have to keep a good eye incase of farmers. Elo rating will also still be applied in CWMs. - You have to spend CSP on member slots in your Coalition. No more unlimited spots, choose wisely who you want in or out of your Coalition. Coalition starts off with 4-6 slots? Then you buy 3 more slots? Then another 3 etc... -Maybe your Coalition Capital has a "default look" but you can buy certain bits to add to it to make it look nicer????? All Capitals will be on display for others to see on their coalition page. -All coalition members will have a "Coalition Banner" that white background that shows up when you hover over someones name in game. CSP can be use to buy and create certain "Banners" just like that in the Call of Duty series(Playercards). But instead it shows of your Coalition with a few stats on it too, some Banners may be even animated? -Too prevent nesting on CSP how about a Coalition's elo now automatically goes down by 0.01 every day, two, three four days? 3-5,000 = 0.01? Or maybe every day at a certain time the coalition just loses a few CSP? With the excuse that "The citizens of your city need it"??? That's not a good excuse though...Maybe it only goes down a small bit? -The leader or officers can pay a large amount of CSP for a personal SP boost to all members for a limited time of the day? But this SP boost only applies to their leveling up not their upgrade pool boost? The leaders can promote a map for 3-5 days for large amount of CSP? That's all I have for this idea atm. If you got this far thanks EDIT: It doesn't have to be a capital. It can just be called Coalition's Upgrades or something...So no, its not "RP"

I've seen this idea implemented in other games, but. this will fuck over smaller newer clans, and make everyone want to join the older clans with better capitals, and make it really hard to make a new clan all over, so maybe if you limit it to like 3 upgrades a clan but still the idea is mediocre at best, won't work well for us here in atwar

I actually really like the idea of having coalition upgrades. It will add a new dynamic to coalitions, and might actually give players who have been without a clan some interest in joining one. As for what these upgrades should be would be up for debate; however, I do think that coalitions should have a member limit cap. It would add a new dynamic to clans. Leaders would pick their members more carefully, as they would strive to have a solid squad of members for CW's. Coalition SP fits well into this as coalitions would need to accumulate x amount of CSP to "upgrade" their coalitions (ex. upgrading member cap by x %). I don't really understand what you mean by coalition capital. Also you mentioned having a coalition strategy, whereby removing players individual strategies. I don't think that's a good idea. Faster population growth seems kinda useless. Currently, the recovery speed for population seems to be pretty solid, i believe it is just a few turns. So, going from 3-4 turns to 1-2 turns doesn't really seem like a difference maker to me. As for the rest, I wouldn't really implement any of those idea's.
