Is it possible to stop or ban the insults in the chats?

Hi, a single question about the languages and insults in this game.

Why is not possible to prevent the insults in the chats?

I mean in some other pages some kind of words are not allowed to write.

You can´t althought you want it, cause they are banned.

Why is people here insulting so much and so hard and we can write whatever word we want?.

Is it not possible to ban some kind of words and insults when people is going to write them?

Everyone has right to say and express how they want, but not to use that right for insulting others on any basis.
That is why we have moderator team.
If you see abusing or insulting, take screenshot and send to them, they will take care about punishment for insulters.

Also, you have option to ignore player (you wont see his messages) or to ban him from your games (he wont be able to join any your game)
Whatsmore, you can mark him as enemy so you know everytime that person did something bad to you.

Even we all lose nerves sometimes and talk bullshit (what is natural human charachteristic), I agree there are lots of frustrated kids and no reason insulters who get wings when they open virtual game, but dont get their words so personal.

Why should we baby-proof the whole internet, because kids are offended in a virtual enviroment. Moreso, its hypocritical they can watch murder, rape, torture and nudity in Tv, but get shocked when they hear an online "insult". Anyway, its not even healthy and wise for kids to spend time in the internet, they should be outside.

Luckily for you though, you can moove to China, where they automatically censor hundreds of specific words in their internet, or moove to Russia or a hardcore Mid East and North Africa country, where half the internet is inaccesible

It would be easier banning that words and you shouldn´t be allowed to write them, it´s easy.

Moderators will warning or ban that player for 10 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day?

This is a game, not a page of political propaganda or racism or people does not need to receive insults cause is playing a game.

It´s not only personal, it´s in the global chat in the names of the games, during the games, when one player loose, in the forums, etc etc etc

i am assuming you are, yes, although i might be wrong. Anyway most of the people, curse for fun, i do it alot also and i am a good person, internet is supposed to be something that allows you to break free of the boredom, routine, rules and hypocrisy of the real world.If we fill the internet with rules and restrictions, whats the point then.

Also by cencoring words using a filter, what do you really gain?Whats the difference really, when someone said fuck, he will just write F@ck...

If someone is insulting your mother or your family or he is bullying you in anyway, you can just report them and they will be punished.

I´m not talking about something personal, i´m talking about the general game, the most of the players behavior, the incredible insult in the chats that everybody can read.

What kind of people are there playing?

I just made a sugestion, probably there are kids and not kids of course ( i don´t like either to be insulted me or my family or my sexuality or my religion or my country just by a poor person cause is loosing a game or is drunk or is smoked or similar things like happens everyday in this page, a suggestion based in the simply idea that you won´t be able to write in the chats some especific words at the same way u can´t write many sentences by flood.

And suddenly it appears like i´m asking for something strange or bad?

It´s incredible.

i guess the whole thing is subjective then, we all have our preferences.I personally find it fun when people are insulting each other in chats, usually for fun, i should add. But even if its not, i dont see the fuss.This is a unique game about war, politics, history and diplomacy and includes people from all countries, religions, sexualities (most are homophobic homosexuals living in the closet) and political blablabla its quite natural for flamewars to occur.
Anyway my final comment on this is, that atwar would be reaaaly boring if it started being censored and people being muted everytime they throw a little insult, even for fun.I would certainly stop playing it.
