Description: This tournament will be a ladder tournament that will last for the length of the current coalition season(3 months). The ladder will consist of ten participants ranking from 1-10. To move up in the ladder, you simply have to beat the person currently ranked ahead of you on the ladder in a 1v1 match. A victory results in you moving up one spot and a loss results in your dropping one spot. If you are not in the Top 10 of the ladder, you must beat the #10 ranked person to take their place on the ladder. The first ten ladder participants will be determined by the first ten players who win a 1v1 match and provide a SS here. Rules: Any refusal to play a match in the tournament will result in an automatic loss to whomever challenged you. I don't care what the excuse is. It WILL BE A LOSS. For that matter, anyone who does not reply to another player's request to play will be considered a refusal to play and will also count as a loss. I know this sounds unfair, but I am letting everyone know ahead of time. My suggestion is that if you do not have enough time to play a match, do not get on AW because challenges will likely come as soon as you log on(especially if you are in 10th place). With that said, the exception to this rule is that you are allowed to refuse the opportunity for someone to play you if you have already played them that day. As for the settings for the match, the matches must be 1v1 in which you capture the other player's capital. Other than those two rules, you are allowed to play on any map, with any funds, with any other settings you like. All rules and victories will be enforced through screenshots, so DO NOT FORGET TO PROVIDE SCREENSHOTS. Awards:
The Ladder: 1) Waffel 2) Khaleesi 3) Joedtaxi 4) Death1812 5) Acquiesce 6) Don 7) 1godofwar1 8) (Open) 9) (Open) 10) (Open) Slayer Leaderboard: 1) Meester/Skenderbeu/Clovis1122/Khalessi/Waffel: One Point P.S. If this turns out to be a popular tournament, I have considered starting Coalition and Tag Ladders as well in future seasons. Hope everyone has fun! Cheers! Update #1: Upon further consideration, I have decided to limit the number of challenges to 1 challenge per person per day and the tenth ranked player will have to play no more than 2 matches a day to defend his spot. Update #2: Screenshots must now also include the time and date within the screenshot so I may easier pull up the game in the game logs to verify. Therefore, do not embed the SS. Simply post a hyperlink to it. Also, a player will not be moved down for not playing on the first challenge(assuming he has good reason). Rather, a person will not lose a position until he has failed to play three consecutive challenges. Once again, screenshots with dates/times are required. Update #3: Update #4: You will not receive a point on the Slayer Leaderboard for beating the person who took 1st place from you.

AFK will result in a loss. I stated that. It will be a loss. Asking when someone is in game is simply retarded on the person who asked's part and the person who was accused of a refusal can easily disprove this since the game now keeps logs of every game played. Either way Waffel, I am not changing the rules. This is meant to be extremely strict. Worst comes to worse, if you lose a match because you were AFK, you will have plenty of time to move back up the ladder. It is a 3 month tournament after all.

Not to be rude, but i dont think alot of people will like to play, because when you are online, you get spammed and if you refuse or dont have time or are Afk and let your pc on and lose 10 points or something.

This isn't a point system. So you cannot win or lose points. You simply move up or down the rankings. Any positions you lose can easily be gained back by beating the person who passed you. And the community is not required to report someone for being AFK when they sent a request They are allowed to but not required, and I am assuming that the community will not take advantage of this. Either way Waffel, I am not asking that you or anyone else who has a problem with the rules play. I understand that some people may not play due to rules, but I know that enough will play and that is all that really matters.

Umm some questions. What if you just get in ladder and go afk for 3 months ? And who are we supposed to play with the first match to get in the ladder ? For the first match is that supposed to be someone higher rank ? Also someone will need to be online at all times to maintain ladder position ( considering a lot of players changed positions to be in the ladder that single day )

Just 1v1 a random person and you become first, than the game starts and people have to fight you to become higher than you. Thats just what he explained. And same question about going afk for 3 months? Kick due innactivity?

Minus is right, youll need timeframes, whats the acceptable amount of time to not 1v1 someone? will they be removed from the ladder completely or will their be a position decay? say after 5 days no game they drop a position

Not just timeframes, lets say I am 10th position. I login everyday beat some players to retain my position, but I am not able to play everyone who challenges me. Will I lose my place just for not able to challenge someone. I think it gets too complicated to quickly. You need to sort out the rules to uncomplicate things and keep things really simple.

Maybe something like.. you cant be challanged more than 2 times per day? I mean, if you are unlucky in one day you will litteraly play whole your atwar day only this tourney matches.

Also I suggest you add ladders for, let's say, an extra 10 places so that you're not completely knocked out after #10, because they might not decide to play with you again... ofc top 10 will be what counts in the end.

Limit the number of challenges you have to take in a week or month time and the number of times you can challenge someone. Players will have to be strategic on who will they spend their challenge and when.
