So it would be for units such as aircraft, tanks, or ships (infantry maybe). The units would have to go to one of your cities for a turn to replenish itself after being out for an extended period of time. Ex. If you had a group of 10 planes out from Chicago, and say the planes can go 4 turns (seems reasonable) before replenishing, then if you didnt get those 10 planes back to a friendly city that you unit would no longer be able to be used (dissapears: like plane didnt refuel so it crashed). Apply that same concept to neccessary units and adjust turns for it. I don't something that popped in my head, wondering what people thought about it.

I think it would also help against someone elses army being able to just wipe your whole country clear with a stack of units.

No support, the norm for units is to move from one city to the other with few exception. Once you capture one city it become friendly, so it would actually just make the game more complicated for those rare instance. Furthermore, it would force the players to rewall their caps.

I agree that some kind of a supply mechanic would be a nice thing to have, but this is just too disruptive to the overall flow of games.
No support.

I agree with the two above. This would make it too complicated, especially for noobs.

If it isn't broke why fix it? I do not understand the need for this, and crossing an ocean would be challenging at best.
