RA vs PD

Hello all.
Before I start this post I would appreciate your opinions on this one to be based on FACTS and VALID arguments.In this post I would like to discuss about RA being useless after nerf.Especially against PD,it doesnt stand a chance.Not even one.Because inf has:7def plus 1 in cities plus 1 against tanks and that makes a total of 8(!)def.So we have 4att 8def and 50 coins cost.Tanks on the other hand have 8att 4def and 90cost.What that means? It means you need 9-10tanks that cost 90 coins to pass 9 PD inf that cost 50coins each.Also PD boosts militia.A usefull boost.RA instead of giving +1 to tanks gives -50 costs for bombers(lol).So usefull!Some will come and say man its called Rentless Attack not tank general so it boosts some other units instead of making one OP.I say ok!Using SAME logic,its called PERFECT DEFENSE not PERFECT INFATRY or OP INFATRY,so remove +1 def from inf and remove bombers cost by 50.PD just boosts mil and inf.Nothing else.RA actually boosts absolutel nothing.It just reduces cost of tanks and bombers.Sounds like imperialist number 2 to me.Its totally unfair nerfing strategies because 4 or 5 players cant find a way to beat them then start shouting ITS OP ITS OP NERF IT PLEASE! Same happened with blitz.Inf that has 8def points is OP infatry!8def points for 50coins? Seriously?

3) PD isnt that great either, it gets beaten easily by both DS and GW

Bottom line: RA is only useful in 1v1 low funds as a surprise strat and TB based tactics. Apart from that not useful. PD is useful in 3v3 but not much outside of that either...

My advice: stop using RA all together, and you will improve your skills

2) RA was nerfed, it went from fairly useless to absolutely useless I agree
3) PD isnt that great either, it gets beaten easily by both DS and GW

Bottom line: RA is only useful in 1v1 low funds as a surprise strat and TB based tactics. Apart from that not useful. PD is useful in 3v3 but not much outside of that either...

My advice: stop using RA all together, and you will improve your skills

Isnt europe like the kind of most balanced map of all? If we look at the picks. Or to be most fair, interested in playing on True Competition map, by Cthulhu? Map is basicaly the same on each end. Sound fair for me.

Symetric Europe is good too for balance, u get same pick on each side...

Dude, when did you see me playing PD?? Ever??

PD win% right now = ~47%
RA win% right now = ~45%

PD has a large stat pool but that only goes to show that it isn't overpowered. RA has the element of surprise because no one uses it, although it is lacking stats to back it up when someone wants to consistently play it.

You can't make a thread asking for facts and valid arguments and then proceed to make posts like this firing ad hominems at those who disagree with your line of thinking.

Unfortunately it was not just pd that struggled against old ra. When players are destroying gw and imperialist on africa 3k with ra you know theres a problem. What are strats like imperialist with their 6 def inf meant to do against ra with 9 attack tanks? RA is the beginners strat, it is the lowest skill strat in the game due to its focus on one unit and the range of that unit. The only boost i would support for it is reducing the militia cost.

Maybe I misunderstood , but are you normal ? PD is a basic strategy that everybody should know how to play because it helps the player to develop the most important skill of AW. If you do not see that , this game is not for you.

well to correct your information INF have 7def with pd and 6 without and that were pointed out long ago but we still change facts to get an advantage to our proposal... anyway if PD is too op then why you dont use it?because you cannot depend on your skills because you suck so you pick some high attack and range eazy shit that depends on luck and tbs to win....you call pd noobs strat then why you dont use it?you would probably respond with "to not play with OP strategy and give my enemy no chance(you would say this in offensive way tho"... and my respond is if your enemy is able to be pd then you are able to pd too so stop fucking crying thank you

the only point i agree on is RA militia sucks the income and should get nerfed cost
