Black screen when loading

I press "play online" and all that happens is i get a black screen that just stays there. Nothing loads. Anyone know how i can get the page to load?

Try clearing your cache, updating silverlight and doing Ctrl + R.
If you're on Linux you'll need Pipelight.

I get the same result recently. This works for me: Close all but one tab of atWar-game.com and left click play!
If I open multiple tabs or click play with mouse 3 the screen remains black.

The others gave the proper advice already. To avoid it permanently use the downloadable client once you load the game. (right-click in lobby)
