You guys keep on punishing people who aint buttlicking you guys. But if a person who keeps buttlicking you guys has a history and does something wrong he doesnt get extra muted or banned or whatever. You guys make it a bigdeal of saying hi or bye or idgaf about whatever i say in global. When there is some1 else spamming the fck out in global and stuff and you guys just ignore it. But only look at the person who has a ''larger history''

So, basically, this whole thread is about you? I thought you said in the begging of this topic that it was more of a general discussion? No, this is not how WE work (whatever WE may mean). Actually, I think that you guys imagine the mod crew as being homogenic and that we discuss every single issue related to the game. There are few discussions, going straight to the "hard" cases and "hard" issues. All of us do this job on voluntary basis, sacrificing game-time (fun-time).

Ok, so this whole topic is about you and not the general discussion you so vehemently announced in the first threads... again, players are dealt with the best way we know. If there is a player that has a history of offenses, trolling, bitching, aggressions, misconducts, etc. then this player wil be dealt with differently than a player that has no record. I guess you don't get this point and you cannot accept that there are limits. If you construct your own "bad-ass" image, you will be dealt as a "bad-ass"... there is no way around. This is exactly the price a player has to pay for receiving a second, third, fourth, etc. chance.

Please do not use tophats as reference for what is tru and what is not true. As to what could be some lines of (constructive) inquiry into a mods general "mea culpa":

• Having different opinions on how to implement mutes and bans: How can mods use the same criteria (and judgement) about using mutes and bans? Is it possible? Do we want this? My particular opinion: it is not possible.
  
• Dealing with trouble players: what are the basis on which we grant second, third, fourth, etc. chances to players? Are we communicating these players that they have to behave better in future or "penalties" will be applied harder? Is it clear to these players or are we "just" assuming they know?
  
• Perma-problem players: how to deal with players that are permanently on the edge of infractions? How to deal with players' aggressions?
  
• SP farming: how to deal with SP farmers (that have increased dramatically over the past weeks and months)?

These are a series of important questions we are currently trying to deal with. Sufficiently? Ofc not! We are a bunch of community members that accepted the challenge to keep a minimum of order within the general chaos. Now I ask you (again, in a constructive manner, definitely not butthurt): which side are you adding to?

Last, your record is not the largest one, but also not a reflection of innocence. Your last mute/ban (5 days) was... you know why. Btw, I do not unmute players that have been muted by other Mods; if any Mod does this, it is up to him. I respect other Mods decisions and can only undo what I have done. Look, Ofc i make some jokes or insulting stuff which some people dont like. But also some people do like it. It is a sense of humor somepeople accept and some dont. How can you mute someone for some jokes if you have your own opinion about it? You say the truth is not somethign for tophats to say. But you guys are muting people within the reasons thats it wrong to do. But who said it was wrong? who are you to call it wrong or good. I am just trying to enjoy to play in atwar. And maybe some people dont like me. I dont care about them? But you guys are almost forcing me to chance because ''i dont fit in this community'' Alex meza is daily globalling about join the FARM MAP hexagon, There are threads about farming maps. And you guys are telling us that you do somethin about it. But doesn't look like it. i know its not that easy as it sounds being a mod. But if you are choosing to mute/ban somebody come with a legit reason. And most of the mods aint even willing to discuss with me why i am mute or banned. All they say is '' rule blabla reffering to some link'' But some links dont even work? And if i say something about it all i get back is '' Dont be a smartass'' -.- How in godsake i need to communicate with those kind of people?

Tbh, Waffel has made many mistakes and such, but I've seen people do the same thing he's doing or even worse at the same time being, but for the majority of time Waffel gets in trouble but the other person only get's a "warning".Same has happened with me. Mods are biased sometimes, we all know it, don't deny it.

• I do not care about your jokes (in a Mod manner), actually I enjoy most of them! I personally do not think that you are an "ugly" member of this community, actually I regard you as an added value to AW. As player and acidly joking guy.
  
• My mutes and bans - and, as far as it is to my knowledge, most of the mods share this position - are limited to trolling, insults, disrespect and farming.
  
• Some farming maps (they are growing like mushrooms!) have been identified, the creators notified to unpublish/nerf them and if this is not done, admins just delete them. Mods do not have power to unpublish and/or delete maps/scenarios. Furthermore, players that farm are being dealt with. All of them? Unfortunately not.
  
• Furthermore, we already have a protocol to deal with SP farming, a collective construction that took us some time to finalize. Every single SP farming, that we manage to identify and prove, is being punished the same way, without exceptions. Is it perfect? Probably not, but it is an ongoing construction with the best intentions and avoiding a penalization that becomes an objective by itself.
  
• Last, but definitely not least, sometimes it is difficult to keep up communication and the constructive interchange of opinions. We - the mods - have limited time we can be online. Besides some gaming, which I haven't been doing much lately, we have to go through a lot of forum posts (some are really extensive and intensive, other we can just go through quickly), check the reports (some are complicated and require reviewing chat-logs, player profiles, IPs, ClkientID checks, etc.) and give answers. Furthermore, some Mods also lead coalitions and we have to dedicate some time to our closer community, etc. etc. etc. It is no apology for some mods (including myself!) behavior, just a back-ground information that may explain some issues.

Same has happened with me. Mods are biased sometimes, we all know it, don't deny it.

C'mon, your record is almost clean! You have been banned, cause you asked for it (literally!) and unbanned when you didn't want to be banned anymore. I muted you twice for spamming and for insulting... what else? Aren't you dramatizing a bit? Btw, you are a supporter (Elite!) and, as such, we depart from an exemplary behavior. Or is it wrong to assume this?
