Creating Casual Game

Sorry if this is answered elsewhere but.. if i create a casual game say 12hour game if i end my turn by pressing end turn the game moves on to the next turn no matter how long is left on the timer. Is this because everybody else is also ready or am i missing something.
To clarify how do i end my turn being the host, without advancing the game until the timer is up.

You can't. If everyone ends their turn then the turn ends. If you want the timer to run out, then someone needs to not end their turn.
