I have a couple... When I start the unit popup screen when you click on city is fine but after a few turns it shrinks and you need to scroll to get to the movement button. Why does it do that and how can I resize my window? Is there anyway to relocate your capital to another capital? On turn 1 of a casual game, after I picked up my country I was able to move my initial armies. In quick I could not do that. I had to wait until the first turn of reinforcements. Is this correct or am I seeing something wrong?

I don't understand the question, can you send a screenshot?
No. It has been proposed, but rejected since it would make the game imbalanced.
You are seeing something wrong. I am assuming that you are not latejoining but instead joining at the start of the game. You should be able to move your starting infantry and reinforcements.

It can not be resized, but it is an inexplicable glitch that affects some browsers some of the time. You will notice that it is more likely to occur when you have 4 or more unit types in a given stack, but then one day you'll be playing and realize there was no problem. I've tested zoom and a few other settings (i use chrome) to see if they have an impact - i wish i could give an answer other than to say try a different browser, as many players don't have this issue and will have no idea what you mean.

Thanks for the answer. I have a few more. 1. I had a game where I made a defensive line but somehow a person was able break it and attack the city. Is there a way to stagger an attack in the same turn? 2. Along the same lines as above, if you attack a city from three different approaches (or stacks) do they all attack at the same time? 3. I am having problems creating a "square" using defensive lines. I can't seem to get 4 lines, but max three lines. Me or the game? 4. Finally, when you create a defensive line and an army attacks that line, do both points of the d-line fight in that battle? Thanks again for the response.

1. He probably found a way to attack your city from around your defensive line etc. If a city is properly walled it cannot be attacked. Thats why walling your important capitals with a 3 man wall is important as it cannot be breached that turn. 2. Yes the battles happen at the same time, even if you issued 100 different attacks on the same city, the units will merge and attack all together, same with defense. Unless he attacked one of your stacks and managed to stop it, in that case that stack will fight in the other battle. Thats why its good to prioritize your movements eg make the most important attacks as early in the turn as possible. 3. Yes. When you attack a defensive line you can see the defenders if you hover over the attack.

In your response to question two (khaleesi vult) not sure what you mean. Are you saying if I move a stack of bombers at 3:40 and a stack of tanks, from another location at 3:00 and he moved a stack of bombers to where my tanks were at 3:05, the tanks must engage in defensive battle with his bombers before they can go join my bombers in an attack? Did that make sense? Can you elaborate with your own example? Thanks

You are close enough, only that time doesnt play a role in this, rather the move order for example 1st move, second move etc This is what we call turnblocking, as you play more games and rank up you will get to know it better and maybe master it. There are guides maybe other people can link them, although for a rank 4 you already know more than enough imo For know i think its enough to know that stopping another stack or unit is based on chance (percentage) with determining factors the move order (1st move, 2nd move, 10 move etc) and unit size ( you are more likely to stop another stack by using 10 units than 1 ) Finally a real game example would be your opponent has a big stack of tanks and you want to kill them first since they have low defense. You have different stacks lying around, your best bet is using your biggest stack as 1st move to attack them and then add the rest. By merging all your stacks before the attack, you not only give him time to get away but you also risk one of your stacks getting stopped and that could potentially screw the whole attack.

Wow, that adds another layer that I did not even think existed. Is that why you can't cancel attacks/moves at a certain time? Does this apply to quick games? I can't believe one has to account for all this in 3 minutes.

I have a couple of more questions: 1. I was in a game with an ally. My cities were left empty. He was able to take over my empty cities. He said that was normal and that when I go to war, I kick him out and retake my cities. 2. If that is true: A. What happens to his troops that are in my cities? B. Does he also get to use my reinforcements of the city? C. Anyway to kick him out without going to war? Also, what determines what piece moves first? For example: Say I have 3 stacks, tanks, militia and bombers. My enemy has 3 stacks of infantry, marines and helicopters. I am going to after his city A. I first move tanks in, then bombers then militia (in that order). He moves his helicopters to my tank stack then moves his infantry to city A as well as the marines. How does that resolve? Thanks
